What we collect and why
- Listings and seller accounts: your first name, private contact details, shoe descriptions, photos, prices and listing activity so we can publish and manage listings, contact sellers, and review submissions. Your first name and listing details appear publicly on approved listings.
- Purchases and fulfilment: buyer and seller contact and delivery details, order status, payment references and issue reports to process an order, arrange dispatch, provide support and keep transaction records.
- Shoe alerts: your email address, chosen shoe preferences and notification history to send the alerts you request. You can ask us to stop these alerts by email.
- Service and security: technical data needed to operate the site, prevent misuse and diagnose problems.
We use information to provide the service and perform transactions you request, meet applicable legal obligations, and protect the site and its users. Where we send optional shoe alerts, we do so because you asked us to. Contact us if you want to stop receiving them.
Who receives information
We use Supabase for marketplace data and storage, Stripe for checkout and seller payments, Vercel for hosting, and an email delivery provider for service messages. We share the details needed with the other party to complete a sale, such as delivery information with the seller. We do not publish private contact or delivery details in a listing. These providers may process information outside the UK under their applicable data protection arrangements.
How long we keep it
We keep data while it is needed to operate listings, alerts, orders and support, then for any period required for accounting, legal claims or other legal duties. You can request removal of an alert or an unused listing. Some transaction records may need to be retained after a request.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct or erase your information, restrict or object to certain uses, and request a portable copy where applicable. Email us to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Changes
We may update this notice as the marketplace changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
